STEMfest

We are looking forward to seeing lots of families on Friday night! Read on for IMPORTANT details .

Grab & Go Rain or Shine

Getting your STEMfest bag will happen just like morning drop-off/afternoon pick-up in front of the school. Between 5:30pm and 7:00pm please approach the school entrance from the South on Yorkchester. For ease of traffic flow, there will be no left turns into the school and all traffic will exit to the right heading North on Yorkchester.

No one needs to get out of the car. Our mad scientists will ask for your name, hand you a bag, or you can pop the trunk. We are discouraging families from picking-up for friends as we don’t want to be looking for multiple names on the RSVP list. We want to get you in and out efficiently! And don’t forget about the 350 FREE Chick-fil-A sandwiches available while supplies last!

Chick-fil-A

We have 350 original sandwiches to give away for FREE! If you would like sandwiches, we suggest an early arrival as we anticipate these will go fast. Sandwiches are for the immediate household only, max. of 6, and please no picking-up for friends.

Get Prepared to Share!

Did you forget to get your STEMfest bag or forget to RSVP?

In the event you RSVPed, but cannot get your bag Friday evening, please email Kelly Porter at  [email protected] to make arrangements for pick-up. If there are leftover STEMfest bags (and we cannot guarantee there will be) you can come by the school on Friday 2/5 between 7:00pm and 7:15pm or you may pick-up a bag from 13907 Myrtlea Dr. on Saturday 2/6 between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

My STEMfest bag is missing stuff!

Our mad scientists have done their best making calculations! If you are missing instructions, scan the QR code below for a complete set. If you are missing a supply, get creative and utilize items from home!

What is STEMfest?

STEMfest is a unique event where families can explore and engage in science-based, hands-on activities. Build the tallest structure using only index cards! Visit the International Space Station in “The Dome”! Learn about coding! Watch what happens when you mix hydrogen peroxide, dry yeast, water and soap! With over 20 activities, there’s something for everyone and every age. The event is designed for the entire family to enjoy and with thanks to student volunteers from Westchester and Stratford, minimal parent volunteers are needed. Meals, prizes, and lots of take-aways are offered as well.
